Registration is now officially open.  I'm still working on the site so if you run into something really strange let me know.  Forums, chat, buddylists, and private messages are open to all registered users.  In order to post an event, blog post, or weblink you will need to apply for either an artist or a commercial role.  Go to my account and then apply for role.  There is no charge.  Registration is free.

For this purpose artists are defined as anyone who makes their own stuff (craftsperson, artisan, or artist-- whatever you consider yourself to be) and it's ok if you sell your art.  Commercial roles are reserved for those who resell beads and jewelry, importers, suppliers, etc.  Fill out your profile as much as possible so I can verify if you qualify.  Resellers and importers (yes, I know who you are) who pose as artists will be banned. 

Register before 2-29-08 and you could win the focal bead (Byzantium Focal Redux) shown above.  Shipping will be free to anyone in the USA or Canada.  There may be a small shipping charge to other countries.

All active registered members will be entered into the drawing for this bead.  The drawing will take place on February 29, 2008.  Good luck!
