Handmade lampwork beads are a colorful way to add unique design elements to your jewelry and art projects. Glass beadmaking is a rapidly emerging art. There are many different lampwork bead artists providing these unique and wonderful glass art beads. I focus on quality, style, fun color combinations, and whimsical sculpted beads (dragons, mermaids, bees, cats, Goddess beads, etc.). My beads are made in my Northwest studio of Effetre (Moretti) or Lauscha glass and are properly kiln annealed, cleaned, and ready for your designs. Each bead is a unique piece of glass art. There is an enormous quality difference between artist-made lampwork beads and those made in bulk. If you want exceptional beads for your jewelry designs or arts and crafts projects, look for beads made by a self-representing artist.
