This website started out as an ecommerce site to sell my lampwork beads but a severe back injury has made production beadmaking impossible so I turned it into a place where other lampworkers can be featured and promote their art. I have noticed that it is hard for many artists to promote their own work. There are many reasons for this: modesty, lack of technical expertise, the confusing and ever-changing world of website/auction promotion. However, self-promotion is critical to the artist's success. It's one thing to make something beautiful, it's quite another to get people to notice it. :)

If you sell on eBay and your lampwork auctions are listed there as SRA, I will see them. If I think they are interesting, fun, or particularly well done, they will show up here as well. You don't need to do anything special. My subscribers are serious beaders who rely on my posts to help them find new talent, hidden bargains, and the best lampwork beads around.
